Relocation to a larger premises meant that Canon UK required their existing pallet racking to be relocated.
In addition, and to increase the storage capacity, the racking was extended in height with splice kits, to accommodate a further 2 beam levels.
P&D were able to reinstall the existing anti-collapse mesh screen and this was also extended in height.
There was also a requirement for some additional workbenches for electrical assembly and a barrier system to protect the workforce near the fork lift truck aisle.
Whilst this was a fairly straightforward contract for P&D, it was essential that the timeline was strictly adhered to, so as not to effect the progress of other trades and re-stocking.
